Dhavan had also argued that belief in Lord Ram’s birth taking place under the central dome of the disputed structure does not give Hindus the title or ownership of the land.
Incidentally his comment on Aurbangze being a “liberal ruler” was heavily panned on social media.
And this is how the Left mainstreams "Traschke". That's why it is important to apply and mainstream Indic scholarship through policy formulation and legal interventions. That's the central object of the @indiccollective. https://t.co/ASEmW03gVA

He destroyed many temples, massacred people and he is a âliberalâ ? This kind of victimhood narrative and dishonesty by Lutyens Delhi angers the citizens of India and the reason why Lutyens media, infested by such folks, has lost respect and getting increasingly isolated https://t.co/TPwNdaAPSr

Such a narrative has been time and again been peddled by various eminent historians. This has included whitewashing his various crimes like destroying Kesava Deo temple where Lord Krishna was born, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Benares, and the Somnath temple in Gujarat.
It has also been documented that four million Indians were killed under Aurangzeb, who reintroduced Jiziya tax on non-Muslims and also forcibly converted Hindus to Islam.
