Event to be held between 29-31 March
The Ramayana Kalpavrksam, is set to return to Hyderabad, promising an immersive experience in the timeless epic of the Ramayana.
The festival takes its name from Srimad Ramayana Kalpavrikshamu, a monumental literary work comprising six volumes penned by Kavi Samrat Viswanatha Satyanarayana, the inaugural recipient of the Gnanpeeth Award in Telugu literature.
Organized by Shankarananda Kalakshetra and Natyarambha in collaboration with Brhat, the multi-art festival is scheduled to take place at the CCRT Campus, Madhapur, Hyderabad.
Speaking about this year's event, renowned classical dancer, Padmashri awardee and the festival curator, Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant said, "After the remarkable success of last year's edition, we are thrilled to bring back Ramayana Kalpavrksam to Hyderabad, offering an unparalleled blend of tradition, artistry, and cultural heritage."
