Aug 15 Merchandise Specials From Swarajya

We're launching four new t-shirts in our merchandise store this August 15th. These items comemorate the historic themes such as the Indian National Army, the Hindustan Republican Association, the HF-23 Fighter jet and more.
INA
The t-shirt features the Azad Hind Fauj flag styled with the year of its founding. The product comes in three colours.
Rash Behari Bose, an Indian revolutionary in Japan, laid its foundation. Captain Mohan Singh, after the fall of Singapore, rallied Indian prisoners-of-war for the cause. However, it was under Subhas Chandra Bose that INA gained significant momentum.
Hindustan Republican Association
The HRA was a well known revolutionary organisation that was founded by Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, Sachindra Nath Bakshi, Sachindranath Sanyal and Jogesh Chandra Chatterjee.
The t-shirt pays homage to the revolutionary spirit with a pistol styled with the name of the organisation.
Sanyal wrote a manifesto for the HRA entitled Revolutionary. This was distributed around large cities of North India on 1 January 1925. It proposed the overthrow of British colonial rule and its replacement with what it termed a Federal Republic of the United States of India.
In addition, it sought universal suffrage and the socialist-oriented aim of the abolition of "all systems which make any kind of exploitation of man by man possible"
HF-23 Fighter Jet
The HAL HF-24 Marut was an Indian fighter-bomber aircraft of the 1960s. Developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), with Kurt Tank as lead designer.
The Project Engineer from HAL was George William Benjamin. It is the first Indian-developed jet aircraft, and the first Asian jet fighter (outside Russia/Soviet Union) to go beyond the test phase and into successful production and active service.
