- The way to a uniform civil code can be achieved in two ways:
- #1 By enacting a law.
- #2 By the courts deciding that whenever anyone seeks the protections assured under the constitution, they will get it. The constitution will trump personal law whenever individual rights are seriously threatened.This is the right balance to strike between minority (and majority) religious rights and the individual’s right to equality under the constitution.
