L&T Secures Order To Construct Automobile Manufacturing Facility In Haryana

Construction and engineering major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured 'significant' orders worth up to Rs 2,500 crore to construct several projects across India.

Though the company has not revealed the exact value of the orders, the contracts fall under 'significant' category that ranges between Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore.

The order secured by L&T include construction of a state-of-the-art automobile manufacturing facility in Haryana.

"The Buildings & Factories Business of L&T Construction has secured an order from a leading automobile major to construct a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Haryana, India," the company said in a statement.

The scope involves design and execution of civil, structural and architectural works including external development works, the company said.

According to the company statement, this win is on the back of a prestigious order from Reliance Life Sciences, a leading bio-tech major to construct their state-of-the-art life sciences products manufacturing facility in Maharashtra.

The company has also won an order from the Assam Government's Public Works Department to construct a Police reserve campus in Guwahati.

The scope of works includes the design and construction of accommodation facilities for police, office space, multi-level car parking and allied buildings in all aspects including structure, finishes, MEP, and related external development works, the company said.

The Police Reserve Campus construction project in Assam is expected to be executed in 36 months, the company said.
