Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will perform the 'jalabhishek' of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on 23 April.

The water for 'jalabhishek' of Ram Lalla will be sourced from rivers of 155 countries.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra's general secretary Champat Rai said that the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is going on in full swing under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

SRJTK is the trust set up by the government to oversee the construction and management of Ram Mandir.


Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and CM Yogi Adityanath will perform the pooja of the 'jal kalash' on 23 April at the Auditorium.

The 'kalash' will containe water from rivers of 155 countries, including the Ravi River in Pakistan.

According to Rai, the water of Ravi river was first sent by Pakistani Hindus to Dubai, from where it was brought to Delhi.

Apart from Pakistan, water will come from the rivers of many other countries including Suriname, China, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Canada and Tibet.
