Mumbai Metro Line 2A And 7 Record Combined Ridership of 100 Million

The elevated Mumbai Metro Line 2A and 7 have recorded a combined ridership of 100 million since their inception.


In January 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated two Mumbai Metro lines, line 2A and line 7.

Mumbai Metro Line 2A connects Dahisar East to DN Nagar in Andheri West and is an 18.6 km-long elevated corridor with 17 stations; it connects Western, Central, and Northern suburban Mumbai. 


Together, these two lines constitute a 35-km long elevated corridor stretching from Dahisar to Andheri forming a horseshoe ring route, linking the east and west sides of the city, passing through Link Road and Western Express Highway.
