Subsequently, the 6.9 km Phugewadi to Civil Court route and 4.7km-long Garware College to Ruby Hall Clinic route were also inaugurated by PM Modi on 1 August 2023.

The Authority has now deployed additional manpower to complete the remaining works on Bund Garden to Ramwadi section by October and Civil Court to Swargate stretch by December this year.

The Ruby Hall-Ramwadi stretch is completely elevated, with key stations like Bund Garden, Yerawada, Kalyaninagar and Nagar Road. While, the Civil Court-Swargate section is completely underground with key stations in Kasba Peth, Mandai and Swargate.

As such, the work on Ruby Hall-Ramwadi stretch is expected to get over earlier, whereas, the Civil Court-Swargate underground stretch will require more time.
