Accused Of Murdering IB Staffer During Delhi Riots, Expelled AAP Leader Tahir Hussain Sent To Seven-Day Custody

Accused in the dastardly murder of Intelligence Bureau (IB) staffer Ankit Sharma during the recent riots in North east Delhi, suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Tahir Hussain has been sent to a seven-day police custody, reports India today.

The custody was granted by Delhi’s Karkardooma Court as the Delhi Police pressed for the need of custodial interrogation of Hussain to hatch the larger conspiracy behind the murder.

Meanwhile, Hussain has claimed that he was innocent and that he and his family members had left their house before the riots broke out in North East Delhi on 24 February.
