In a jolt for stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, who has already been banned by several airlines from travelling on their airplanes, full service carrier Vistara has barred him from taking its flights till 27 April, reports Economic Times.

The ban has come into effect immediately on the basis of the internal committee of IndiGo finding him guilty of misbehaviour on a flight in air in accordance with the regulations enshrined in the Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs).

Soon after IndiGo's decision, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had taken to Twitter to assert, "Offensive behaviour designed to provoke & create disturbance inside an aircraft is absolutely unacceptable & endangers safety of air travellers."
