Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal on Friday (13 December) thanked the Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi led Government for the construction of two peripheral expressways around Delhi by the centre which have helped in reducing the pollution levels in Delhi considerably, reports Asian News International (ANI).
CM Kejriwal acknowledged that the eastern and western peripheral expressways have helped ensure that as many as 30,000-40,000 trucks were kept from entering the national capital city.
The two projects were completed in record timeline under the watch of then and incumbent Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
