CBSE Cancels X, XII Exams Scheduled In July, Class XII Students To Get Option Of Appearing On Later Date

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to cancel its pending Class X and Class XII examinations scheduled from 1 to 15 July, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court on Thursday (25 June), Hindustan Times has reported.

While the Class X examination will not be conducted, the students studying in Class XII will get a chance to appear in the exams whenever the situation permits. These dates will be decided by the central government.


ICSE also told the Supreme Court that it is in agreement with CBSE's decision and will convey the same to its students. CBSE is expected to soon pass a written order pertaining to this decision.
