The People Liberation Army (PLA) Western Theatre Command's spokesperson has been quoted as claiming that the Indian Armed Forces today (31 August) crossed over into China controlled territory across the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The Chinese spokesperson has also "urged" India to withdraw its forces.

This development comes after news broke of China carrying out an unprovoked military aggression on the southern side of Pangong Tso lake on 29 August.

The Chinese troops then ran into an Indian post. The Chinese were soon challenged by the Indian Army soldiers posted at the spot, which resulted in the two sides engaging in hand to hand combat for the next few minutes.

The Indian Army was ready for the Chinese onslaught after having received intel of their movements. The Indian Army had as a result mobilised its troops to thwart any such attempt by the Chinese.
