Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19 In India Touch 110 As Uttarakhand Reports First Case; Three From Rajasthan Corona-Free

India's tally of positive cases of those affected by Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Sunday (15 March) surged to 110 as the State of Uttarakhand reported its first ever case since the outbreak of the pandemic, reports Times of India.

In total, the day witnessed just three new cases being reported from across the nation, with Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Maharashtra adding a new confirmed case to their tally apart from Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that the tally of 110 cases includes two patients aged 76 and 68 years who have already succumbed to death.

As of Sunday, Delhi has reported seven cases, UP 12, Karnataka six, Rajasthan two, Telangana three Ladakh three and Jammu and Kashmir two. Meanwhile, Maharashtra has reported the highest figure of those affected, at 32. Kerala's tally stands at 22 including three who were discharged after recovery last month.

It should be noted that the tally of 110 confirmed cases includes 17 foreign nationals of whom 16 are Italians while one is a Canadian.
