Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a shot at West Bengal's law and order situation in the Rajya Sabha on Monday (8 February). Whilst referring to TMC MP Derek O’Brien’s speech, PM Modi claimed that he wondered whether Obrien’s criticism was directed towards the central government or Bengal.
PM Modi similarly turned the page back to Congress’ history as he talked about Rajya Sabha MP Pratap Singh Bajwa’s address to the parliament.
The Prime Minister also targeted the opposition for taking a U-turn on the farm reforms and also opened up about the necessity of modernising agriculture in the country.
