First Unit Of Mahindra’s All-New Thar SUV Auctioned Off For Rs 1.11 Crore; Automobile Giant To Match The Bid And Donate The Total Amount

The first unit of Mahindra & Mahindra's all-new SUV Thar has been auctioned off for a stellar Rs 1.11 crore in an online auction held by the automotive major over a span of six days, a report in the Economic Times says.

Mahindra will match an equivalent sum as the highest bid, and the total amount will be donated to either PM CARES fund, Naandi Foundation, or Swades Foundation to help fight COVID-19, as chosen by the winner of the auction.
