The government on Monday (29 June) partially relaxed the export norms for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) medical coveralls for Covid-19, allowing the shipments of the product with a monthly export quota of 50 lakh units, reports The Hindu.

The PPE medical coveralls, which were earlier banned for export, have now been moved to the restricted category.

The product was earlier banned for the export to fulfil its requirement in the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
