The Varanasi District Court held that the Gyanvapi Dispute is maintainable. The judgment in the case was reserved by the District Judge AK Vishvesh on 24th of August.

The ruling is relating to the whether a plea filed by Hindu Women for permission to worship the deity within the complex of Gyanvapi Mosque is maintainable or not.

The District Court has today held that the plea filed by Hindu Women is maintainable before the Court.


The matter is now listed for 22 September for further arguments on merits.
