<p>Indian Army which lost one Colonel and two soldiers in a violent confrontation at Galwan valley yesterday night (15 June), has managed to inflict casualties on the Chinese side. The nature and number of casualties though is still unclear, but it has been <a href="https://twitter.com/ShivAroor/status/1272807279570673665">claimed</a> that at least three Chinese soldiers may be dead.</p>.<p>Incidentally, no bullets were fired during the confrontation and the fight took place with the help of stones and clubs. As a result, personnel on both sides were killed in hand-to-hand combat.</p><p>It is the first time in over 40 years that killings have taken place at the India-China border. The last such confrontation happened in 1975 when China <a href="https://twitter.com/manupubby/status/1272796837695516672">shot dead</a> four Assam rifle troopers. </p>
