J&K: Security Forces Bust Terrorist Hideout In Kishtwar, Recover Collection Of RPG, Pistols And Grenades

In a positive development, the security forces on Friday (16 October) busted a terrorist hideout located in Kishtwar district of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Times of India.

The operation was executed by a joint team of the Indian Army and the special operations group (SOG) of the J&K Police based on specific intelligence tip about the hideout. It also led to a seizure of a collection of grenades, pistols and AK rounds.


The operation took place in the Mochhwar Nar area of Navapachchi of Kishtwar district.

Earlier on 4 October, the security forces had busted a terrorist hideout in Behermgala-Surankote area of J&K’s Poonch district and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition, including a Pakistan made pistol and 150 AK rounds.
