Just days after the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister (CM) had announced the establishment of nation's largest film city in Gautam Buddh Nagar and ordered the relevant authorities to begin a land hunt, the officials of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) have completed the exercise, reports Hindustan Times.

The authorities have zeroed-in on a 1,000-acre land for the proposed film city in Sector-21, just six km away from the upcoming international airport at Jewar. Also, the site lies along the Yamuna Expressway and is just 12 km away from the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, 70 km from Delhi, and 150 km from Agra.

It should be noted that UP CM Yogi Adityanath had on 18 September announced the setting up of the country's "biggest" and the "most beautiful" film city in state's Gautam Buddh Nagar.

After announcing the setting up of the Film City, had instructed the officials to search for the appropriate land for the execution of the project in or around Noida and Greater Noida area.
