Dedicated to sign the final agreement on Naga peace deal by 31 October and to put an end to 22-year of prolonged negotiations, the Union Government's interlocutor and Nagaland's Governor RN Ravi is set to conduct another meeting with a delegation of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) today (28 October) in New Delhi, reports Times of India.
The meeting to be held today will be held to iron out the contentious issues including the demand of a separate flag and constitution for Nagas, which the Government of India has particularly refused to agree to.
The last meeting between Ravi and NSCN (I-M) on 24 October to build a consensus on the two demands remained inconclusive, but both agreed to meet for a second time, keeping hopes alive for a smooth conclusion of the peace dialogue.
