The District Magistrate's office claimed that the patient in question is in a stable condition in home isolation and no bed unavailability in this case have come to light.
The tweet by Pradip to which Sood replied purportedly pleaded for help said that his efforts to find a bed for his wife either in Barhampur or Bhubaneswar have ended in failure. It has now been deleted. The account had tagged Sood in another tweet on 14 May seeking oxygen for his wife.
"Hope you know the cost of the oxygen plant. And how many is he importing. Let’s get the import documents. Enough is enough. Don’t created such PR hype it creates unnecessary disturbance on the teams who are actually working on ground.", Mundra had tweeted.
