Congress leader Sachin Pilot, who was sacked from the post of Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister (Dy CM), is going to hold a press conference on Wednesday (15 July) at 10:00am, NDTV reported.

"The Congress and Mr Pilot have clearly run out of road. All that remains now is for him to make it official by stating that he is exiting the Congress. He will hold a press conference at 10 am tomorrow," the report said.

After party's decision, Pilot who has been remained silent about his next move took to Twitter and said 'the truth can be troubled but not defeated'.

"Satya Ko Pareshan Kiya Ja Sakta Hai Parajit Nahin," he wrote.

Making the decision public, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that Pilot was "ensnared" by the BJP to bring down the Congress government in Rajasthan.

"We have given Sachin Pilot many opportunities. He has been an MP and MoS and a state party president. I am sad that Sachin Pilot and some of his colleagues have fallen for a trap laid by the BJP. This is unacceptable," Surjewala was quoted as saying.

The decision had come after multiple appeals from various Congress leaders to Pilot and other rebel MLAs to attend party legislature meeting and resolve the issue through dialogue.

While Pilot and his aides have said that they have no plans of joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), his forward strategy will only be clear after tomorrow's public meet. However, political analysts have also said that apart from exiting the party, he does not seem to have any viable option at the moment.
