Two Terrorists Shot Down By Security Forces In Encounter In J&K's Kulgam District

Security forces gunned down two terrorists on Saturday (10 October) in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district, reported Hindustan Times.
The encounter was still going on at the time of writing this report.
"Kulgam Encounter Update: 2 unidentified terrorists killed. Operation in progress," Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
The joint operation of local police and security forces began at about 12:40am on the interjecting night of Friday and Saturday in Chingam area of the district, according to the police.
As the security forces zeroed in on the spot where terrorists were hiding, they came under a heavy volume of fire that triggered the encounter.
The identity and affiliation of the terrorists is not known yet and officials are trying to ascertain it.
Earlier on 7 October, the forces had shot down three terrorists in Sugan Zainapora area of Shopian district.
