Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
The Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra has cut down the security cover for Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Times Now reports.
Furthermore, Thackarey’s government has completely removed the securities given to state BJP chief Chandrakant Patil and the ex-finance minister in Fadnavis’ cabinet Sudhir Mungantiwar.
Even MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s security cover has been slashed by the state administration. The 52-year-old is known to be arch-rival of Uddhav Thackeray and had formed the MNS after defecting along with a section of the Shivsena in March 2006.
