The Noida authority in Uttar Pradesh has allotted land plots to nine companies in Noida, that are expected to bring in an investment of close to Rs 900 crore and provide jobs to 5,600 people in the state, reports Economic Times.
The Authority has allotted over 2.15 lakh square meters of land plots to printing unit Replika Press, natural gas distribution company Indraprastha Gas, Complete Surveying Technologies, Durga Fabrics, Mountainview Technologies, Keshoram Manufacturing, MG Capsules, NJD Softek and Vandana Computers.
The applicants for the land had been interviewed by the authorities on 28 May and 4 June following which the allotment was done.
It should be noted that the development comes as a major endorsement for the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led UP government's efforts to mature into a greater manufacturing powerhouse by making it easier for the companies to do business in state.
