Farmers tractor rally in Delhi quickly turned violent when the protesters broke the barricade, attacked police personnel and destroyed a DTC bus.

The protesters reached the Red Fort and tried to take down the gate. One protester has reportedly died after a tractor overturned. Farmers claim he was shot.

Latest reports say that the farmers have hoisted flags from the ramparts of the red fort.

Amid the chaos and violence, Connaught Place has been closed following Delhi police advisory, says Traders' association.
