As a testament to its boldness, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has rescued 16 crew members of barge MV Mangalam which reported aground off Mumbai coast.


The ICG has posted a video clip of the rescue mission on social media.

The Indian Coast Guard was established on 18 August 1978 by the Coast Guard Act, 1978 of the Parliament of India as an independent Armed force of India.
