In the latest round of the Corps Commander level talks held between the Indian Army and the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) at Moldo, on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the Indian representation categorically conveyed to the Chinese counterpart that India will not compromise on its territorial integrity, reports Times of India.

During the 11-hour-long hefty parleys, India clearly pressed on the Chinese PLA for earliest disengagement of the troops from Pangong Tso and a few other friction points in the Eastern Ladakh region.

Following the talks which were held on Sunday (2 August), Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane was given a detailed briefing about the talks on Monday, which was then followed by a discussion with senior military brass on the overall situation in Eastern Ladakh.

It is said that National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Union Minister for External Affairs (MEA) S Jaishankar were also briefed about the developments.
