In another embarrassment for Pakistan at the world stage, the World Sindhi Congress (WSC) has approached the United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) with a plea that Pakistan's membership be suspended until the nation stops its atrocities, killings and enforced disappearances of activists and minorities in the Sindh province, reports Asian News International (ANI).
Secretary-General of the WSC, Lakhu Luhana asserted that Pakistan has unleashed one of the worst atrocities that mankind has ever seen.
Luhana urged the international community to apply pressure over Pakistan to shun it's activities against the Sindhi population of Pakistan and also pressed upon the UNHRC to suspend the membership of Pakistan until the ones abducted by the state and freed.
Luhana was speaking on the sidelines of an event during the ongoing 42nd session of the UNHRC.
