Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an election rally in West Bengal’s Serampore made a sensational claim that 40 Trinamool MLAs are in his contact, ANI has reported.
During the election rally Prime Minister Modi claimed that after the Lok Sabha poll results on 23 May, lotus (BJP’s symbol) will bloom all round and Trinamool’s MLAs would desert Mamata Banerjee.
Prime Minister Modi indicated brewing mutiny in Trinamool by claiming that even today 40 Trinamool MLAs are in his contact. He accused Mamata of betraying the confidence of the people and stated that she won’t get away with it.
This attack by Prime Minster Modi comes after Mamata had threatened to break his teeth by sending him sweets filled with stones.
