In a shocking Facebook post, a Pune-based journalist having naxal sympathies has warned that 400 policemen will be killed to avenge the recent operations in Gadchiroli in which 40 Naxalites were killed by the security agencies.

In the post, written in Marathi, the journalist Raosaheb Dokhe has questioned whether all the killed were actually Maoists and the number of policemen killed in the operations. He then warns of assured revenge for the operations stating that 400 policemen will be killed to avenge the 40 ‘comrades’ while terming the encounters as fake.

Dokhe concludes the post with ‘Lal Salam’, a common leftist salutation.

Security agencies in Gadchiroli have taken cognisance of the post and have forwarded the matter to the IT cell for investigation, as reported by Business Standard.

After his post led to an uproar, Dhoke posted that he is ‘unarmed’ and was merely stating his apprehensions in wake of the incident. He however goes on to say that he too was a ‘wronged dalit’ and that he wouldn’t hesitate to pick up arms if truth and the Constitution are threatened.
