Senior Shiv Sena leader and its Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has announced that the party will be contesting the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal. The party leaders will also be reaching Kolkata soon, if Raut's tweet is to be believed.

Incidentally, the Shiv Sena - which severed ties with the BJP over a year ago, had also decided to contest the recently concluded Bihar assembly polls, but without much success.
