E-commerce giant Amazon has launched the Amazon Marketplace App Store in India on Monday (12 August) exclusively for sellers, reports Your Story. The platform will help sellers automate, grow and manage their businesses.
Through the app, sellers can search across 13 categories like accounting and tax remittance, inventory and order management, e-commerce solution connectors and others.
Vice President of Seller Services Amazon India, Gopal Pillai said, “The platform is designed to intuitively connect the right developer with the right seller to ensure that both parties can succeed.”
He adds that the goal of the platform is to become a go-to solution for sellers looking for business tools for their needs. The platform will reduce time, effort and money spent on finding the appropriate solution.
“The applications featured on the Amazon Marketplace Appstore have been verified and are completely reliable”, Pillai said while adding that he is hopeful that the app will be helpful to both sellers and developers in expanding their businesses.
With access to 100 applications around the world, Indian sellers will be able to explore apps from Amazon and third-parties. Sellers can discover relevant solutions to their business, authorise data access and complete their purchase. For developers, the app store will allow them to reach their customers with ease.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
