As the tussle over sharing of power and Chief Ministerial (CM) post between CM Devendra Fadnavis led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Shiv Sena continues, CM Fadnavis will be traveling to Delhi to meet with the party president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today (4 November), reports Money Control.

However, it should be noted that the meeting is reportedly being held to discuss an aid from the National Disaster Relief Fund (NDRF) to the farmers of Maharashtra who have been affected by the unseasonal rainfall.

The meeting comes a day after the senior leader of the Shiv Sena, in an editorial piece in the party mouthpiece Saamna, on Sunday (3 November) indirectly blamed the "arrogance" of the BJP for the current political scenario. He said the situation wouldn't have worsened had the CM visited Thackeray's residence "with a large heart" and begun talks soon after the poll results were announced on 24 October.

Later on Sunday, NCP's senior leader Ajit Pawar confirmed to media persons that he had received a message from Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut. Pawar however also mentioned that his party, which fount the elections in the state in an alliance with Congress will take any decision after consulting with its allies.
