The Muslim party in the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi dispute, Sunni Waqf Board has said that it respects the Supreme Court judgement but is not satisfied with it, and will decide further course of action.
The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) also briefed the media and said that the AIMPLB is not satisfied with the verdict and it will go through the order and discuss whether to seek a review.
The AIMPLB said that it cannot accept the Supreme Court verdict as justice and will seek legal recourse. It has also urged people not to hold any kind of demonstration, urges them to maintain harmony.
On the other hand, Dargah Deewan Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, the head of Ajmer dargah has welcomed the decision of Supreme Court and appealed to people to maintain peace and harmony. "The judiciary is supreme and everyone should respect the decision. It is the time to present a united face before the world because entire world is looking at India today," he said.
