Even as less than two years have passed since the last Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has already begun early preparations for the next when scheduled to take place in 2024, reports Economic Times.

Party's president JP Nadda is set to embark on a 100-day nationwide tour with a focus on strengthening the party in regions where it had not been able to do as well in the 2019 polls. Also, Nadda will be spending a third of his travel time in the States where the party is not in power.

During his tour, Nadda will be holding strategic meetings with State-level party leaders to formulate plans to win the Lok Sabha seats where the party had lost in 2019. He will also be holding meetings with Rashtriya Swayamseva Sangh (RSS) leaders and prospective allies of the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

The party headquarters has already issued a series of instructions to the State units for Nadda's campaign tour, to make appropriate arrangements for the same. Also, a request has been made to ensure that no more than 200 people gather in a big hall at a time given COVID-19 pandemic remains in force.
