Taking a jibe at Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) poor performance in the 2015 Delhi elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal said that this time BJP’s slogan should be ‘Abki baar 3 paar’ (this time, more than 3), reports Hindustan Times.
The Delhi CM was speaking at the 17th edition of Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, and was reported saying, “BJP’s slogan will be ‘abki baar 3 paar’. We [AAP] will go with ‘abki baar 67 paar.”
The leader also added, “We have changed the entire political discourse in Delhi in these five years. In Delhi there is vote for development. The entire campaign will be based on the work by our government in this tenure.”
Notably, in the 2015 assembly elections Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had swept to power winning 67 seats in the 70-member House.
Kejriwal also said that he is confident of winning the elections in Delhi due early next year due to the achievements in the past five years.
