CBSE Invites Renewal Applications For Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship For College And University Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has called for renewal application forms from the applicants who were awarded the scholarship under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for the year 2014, reports Indian Express.
The last date for applying for the online renewal is 15 December, 2018. The candidates will have to send the hard copy of the online form on or before 31 December 2018.
CBSE, through the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students, aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to low-income families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies.
The board provides scholarship based on a student’s performance in senior secondary examinations.
