Three more people have been arrested by the Delhi Police Crime Branch in the CBSE Class XII Economics paper leak case from Himachal Pradesh, days after one Board official was suspended and three others were apprehended in the case.

The three, centre superintendent Rakesh, clerk Amit and support staff Ashok of the DAV School in Una district in Himachal Pradesh, have now been brought to New Delhi by the Delhi police, as reported by Times of India.

A retest for the Class XII Economics paper on 25 April has been announced after the paper leak surfaced, and the Delhi police is probing the case through a Special Investigation Team (SIT).

Earlier, on 1 April, CBSE had suspended an official, KS Rana, for laxity in supervising an examination centre while three others, two private school teachers and one coaching tutor, were also arrested in the case.

Since the leak surfaced, students have been protesting against the central board at its office in Preet Vihar in New Delhi demanding strict action against the guilty.
