The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has identified more fake YouTube links which claim to possess Class 12 question papers of those subjects whose exams are still to be held, reports Times of India.

"The board is keeping a constant vigil and bringing unwanted activities to the notice of police immediately so that suitable and strict action against miscreants can be taken under provisions of IPC and IT Act. More uploads have been located on YouTube falsely claiming to have access to the Class 12 original question papers of subjects which are yet to be conducted," stated a senior board official.

He added that FIRs had already been registered against people believed to be behind the spread of such fake news of paper leaks.

The board has made an appeal to students, as well as their parents to ignore such fake news and cooperate with it in order to ensure that the Class 12 exams are conducted fairly and smoothly. It had issued a similar cautionary message in February.

The CBSE Class 12 exams started on 15 February and are going to end on 3 April, while the Class 10 exams have already concluded.
