In a breather for Chartered Accountancy (CA) students, the Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India (ICAI) has extended the last date for filling online forms for the November CA exams by five days, reports Tax Scan.
ICAI has earlier announced that the last date to apply for the examination was 7 September. This has now been extended to 12 September and no late fee would also be levied for the same.
ICAI has also announced that for candidates residing in Jammu and Kashmir the last date for application would be 15 September without late fees.
It was earlier reported that ICAI had taken another student friendly measure when it had relaxed the mandatory study period of eight months required for students to appear for the intermediate examination after successfully clearing the foundation test.
Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
