The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has launched a certificate course on Forex and Treasury Management to aid the professional development of Chartered Accountants (CA) operating in this field.
As per a notification [PDF] issued by ICAI, the classes would be held every weekend from 10 August to 1 September at the ICAI tower in Bandra, Mumbai.
This course would cover topics like foreign exchange market, money market, bond market operations and related financial products. It will also analyse the international finance environment and how it affects treasury operations. It will also give an overview of the key treasury functions.
The certificate course would be conducted by ICAI’s Committee on Capital Market and Investors Protection. The candidates would receive a credit of 25 CPE hours after course completion and five more hours after the course is successfully completed.
All current ICAI members and students who have successfully passed the CA Final exam are eligible to avail this course.
