China, Its Friends In Global Scientific Community Suppressing Truth About Origin Of Coronavirus: Chinese Virologist

A Chinese whistleblower virologist, who has claimed that China created the novel Coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, in a government lab in Wuhan, on Tuesday (15 September) alleged that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) government and its friends in world scientific community are suppressing the truth about the origins of the deadly Virus.

In an interview with Fox News, the Chinese virologist, Dr Li-Meng Yan said that she has "solid scientific evidence" that the novel Coronavirus, which has killed over 9.30 lakh people globally, is man-made and was created at a lab by Chinese government by modifying the bat Coronavirus.

When asked specifically if it was the Chinese government that manufactured the Coronavirus, Yan said, "Yes, exactly.. this [Coronavirus] is a direct one, comes from their [China's] own special bat Coronavirus and that then target humans".

On the question of why the researchers around the world who have the virus genome in their possession are silent on the origins of the Coronavirus, the Chinese virologist said that it was because of "big suppression that comes from CCP government and also there friend in scientific world'.

"The scientific world also keeps silence, works together with Chinese communist party. They don't want people to know this truth," she said.

It should be noted that Yan has claimed that she possesses scientific proof that the COVID-19 virus originated in a government-controlled laboratory in Wuhan, China.

The scientist Dr Li-Meng Yan was working at the Hong Kong School of Public Health when she allegedly came across the proof of coronavirus being lab-made.

In a video interview, Yan said that she came to know about the virus while studying pneumonia in Wuhan. She said that found that there was no response from the World Health Organisation when coronavirus was reported, and that the Chinese officials ignored her warnings despite being aware of the danger the world was about to face.

In the interview, Yan claimed that the virus was lab made in Wuhan, and that particular lab is controlled by the Chinese government, reports WION. She said that she was sure about her claim as she got “her intelligence from the CDC in China, from the local doctors.

She said that the argument that the virus originated in a wet market in Wuhan is “simply a smokescreen”.

Yan said she had to flee to the United States after being threatened by the Chinese officials when she wanted to tell the truth. She also accused the Chinese authorities of deleting all the information collected by her, and employing people to defame her.

Yan is now reportedly hiding in the United States as she is worried about her safety.
