Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (1 April) tore into the Congress party over the Hindu Terror bogey and Congress president Rahul Gandhi announcing his Lok Sabha candidature from Kerala’s Wayanad, DNA has reported.
As per the report, Prime Minister Modi accused the Congress of branding peace loving Hindus as terrorists. He was speaking at a campaign rally in Wardha, Maharashtra.
He also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi choosing to contest from Wayand in Kerala in addition to Amethi by charging that leaders of a party are scared of contesting from constituencies dominated by majority (Hindu) population, Economic Times has reported.
Earlier, a Congress leader had kicked up a row by asserting that Rahul Gandhi would win from Wayanad as Hindus are a minority there.
