Farmer leader Geeta Bhati
A farmer leader protesting against the farm reforms in Greater Noida has alleged that the cops have stolen her sandals to prevent her from continuing her protests and has as a result demanded that the Narendra Modi led central government return them.
In the video shared by News24, the farmer leader Thakur Geeta Bhati who identifies herself as the president of Kisan Ekta Sangh's Mahila Morcha alleged that her sandals were stolen thanks to a conspiracy by the cops and the government. Bhati has also demanded that the Narendra Modi led government return her sandals.
This she alleged was done to prevent her from protesting but she asserted that she will continue her fight barefooted. Bhati has also said that she will file an FIR against those responsible for stealing her footwear.
Incidentally, while the crowd began chanting slogans praising Bhati, a man sitting on her right began laughing but was promptly ordered to stop by her supporter.
