Citing the outcome of Right to Information (RTI) filed by one of its party members, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi chief Manoj Tiwari has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of misleading the public about infrastructure works in the national capital.

Soon after the inauguration of the Rao Tula Ram flyover, the Delhi CM had claimed that several similar infrastructural projects were in the pipeline to ease the lives of the Delhiites.

“This fact is based upon information received through RTI. But he is wasting crores of the hard-earned money of the people on advertisements and trying to get appreciation from the people. The truth is quite contrary to it. He should apologise to the people of Delhi for misleading the people by taking credit for the works done by other agencies,” Tiwari quoted as saying by The Hindu.

Harish Khurana, a BJP spokesperson, had filed the RTI asking if there were any flyover projects sanctioned by the Kejriwal government.
