Delhi Government To Take A Decision On Extension Of Odd-Even Scheme On Monday: CM Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday (15 November) said the government will take a decision on extension of the Odd-Even scheme on Monday (18 November).
Speaking to the media, he said the air quality is expected to improve in the coming days, as per the forecast.
"We don't want to impose the Odd-Even unnecessarily. We will see the air quality. If it improves, we will not impose the scheme. Otherwise we will take the decision on extending the Odd-Even scheme on Monday morning,” the Delhi CM said.
Odd-Even was imposed in Delhi from 4 November and it will end on Friday.
Meanwhile, Delhi on Friday (15 November) also earned the dubious distinction of becoming the most polluted major city in the world with an air quality index (AQI) of 527, as per data by Air Visual on the World AQI rankings.
Six of the top 10 cities in the rankings fall in the Indian sub-continent, Delhi, Lahore, Karachi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Kathmandu. So within Asia, air pollution is concentrated in South Asia.
