Dogs Are Man’s Best Friend: Maybe Not In Bangalore, As Stray Dogs Hound Passengers In Kempegowda International Airport

Stray dogs have become a huge problem in the Kempegowda International Airport Limited (KIAL), Times Of India has reported. The operator claims that they have enough measures to check the menace. They have said that there have been no dog bites so far.
“But they do scare away people frequenting the eateries,” a housekeeping staff told Times of India. “At Kempegowda International Airport, we have all the requisite measures in place to curb dog menace within the airport premises. We do our best to ensure visitors or passengers are not troubled by the dogs,” BIAL spokesperson told Times of India.
Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) is the second fastest growing airport in the world in terms of passenger growth for the first half of 2018 according to a report by RoutesOnline. KIA had recorded 15,850,352 passengers during the first six months of this. This was 4,180,852 passengers in excess of the number recorded during the same period last year.
